Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I sign up for the Tournament?  A: Go to the Tournament page of the Tournament you would like to be in and go through the entire sign up process.  Which includes:
1. Online Tournament Pre-Registration must be completed in its entirety
It fills out these pages;  Roster , Payment Processing  Hotel Selection and Team Contract
2. Choose from our Hotels on that Tournaments Page at the top
3. YOU MUST Send in the Hotel/Team Contract and Payment Form filled out with a check if paying by check.  Credit cards will be processed when you are accepted into the tournament only. This must be received within two weeks of registering online.
Q: I want to book my own hotel how do I do it?  A: You can book your own hotel but do not plan on being in the tournament.  If you do not go through our process of submitting the roster, hotel and team contract and payment forms we will NOT allow you in the tournament.  No exceptions, go through the process above or you will not be allowed to play in the tournament.
Q: Can I purchase discount tickets for the Hershey Bears AHL. team yet for that weekend?  A: No,  You should wait for the schedule to come out as you may be set to play the same night and time as the Bears game.
Q: Can I purchase discount tickets for HersheyPark yet for that weekend?  A: Yes,  Go to this link and ask your team manager for the user name and password that can be provided to them once the team is confirmed registered and payment has been received by the Hershey Jr Bears.
Q: How do I  pay for the Tournament?  A: You can pay by check and you can fill that out in the payment processing area of the payment page and select by check.  Or Credit card.  When the tournament gets full it will go by whomever pays first and mailing a check may mean you do not get in if someone pays by credit card.
Q: Can you mail me the Tournament registration form?  A: The Registration form is online and only online.  We will not be mailing out any forms.  If you cannot sign up online on your computer then find someone to help you as many teams have completed the process online over the years including this year.
Q: We are a New York Team can we play in the tournament?  A: Yes,  Your levels are labeled different in NY then Pa. If you are an A team in NY you are a AA team here, If your a B team in NY you are a A team here,  If your a C team in NY you are a B team here.  You are slightly labeled different but that is how it breaks down here. So NY A team and NY B teams can play in the Christmas tournament.  NY B teams and NY C teams can play in the Thanksgiving Tournament.  NY B teams can play in the Preseason Tournament.
Q: I completed the team sign up and roster but didn't fill out how we will pay for the Tournament, can I still do that without doing the roster again?  A: Yes, go to the Tournament you selected and to sign up online item #1 and completed the Hotel contract by printing that page and or clicking on the payment link to fill out how you will pay, by check or credit card. It usually looks like this.

Q: I don't want to use Hershey's hotels for the Tournament, what will happen?  A: If you do not follow the rules for the Hotel/Team contract for our hotels you will be removed or not allowed in the tournament.  There is only one way teams are allowed to not use a hotel and that is by being a local team in the tournament not needing a hotel at all.
Q: Are the Rules posted for the Tournament?  A: Yes, go to the top of this page and it is the navigation button on the right top that says RULES.
Q: I don't know the Hershey area where are the Tournaments held?  A: Some games may be at Hershey Park Arena, the Giant Center (if available) and Twin ponds facilities.  There are no guarantees you will play at HPA or Giant Center.  Maps are on the MAPS page listed on the above navigation bar at the top of the page.  Hotels have maps of their approximate location also.
Q: What age levels are playing in the tournament?  A: Go to that tournaments page and they are listed there.
Q: Are the dates on the website correct for each tournament?  A: Yes, these are the dates for these tournaments at this time.  Some may start on a Friday (Post-season and Thanksgiving), go into the evening on the last day of the tournament (Post-Season and Thanksgiving) or go through weekdays (Christmas).  Please be prepared to play the first day at the time specified as your team should be expected to start the first day at the earliest time.
Q: We don't have a team as tryouts have not occurred yet, can we pre-register?  A: Yes we take teams all the time without the roster page completed with names of players or numbers.  The roster page can be easily accessed again in the future to fill the teams roster out.  Your slot will not be lost if you complete all forms on the website and mail them in and pay.  We can change add or delete names on your roster up to a week before the Tournament.  You must bring your USA hockey roster to the Tournament to complete your correct roster and proof your a registered team.  We will have sign up sheets for the first days events for the entire Tournament.
